For most of us, the holidays are over, and that means it's time to get back to work. While the post silly-season blues are real, there's joy in new beginnings and looking towards what's to come in 2024.
That's what we had in mind when we gathered some of our favourite collaborators at the office for our Prefall 24 shoot last year. They're not at our office everyday, but these are the women we think of when it's time to design a new collection.
Our climate is changeable at the best of times, and
with office temperatures optimised for men (true!) lightweight layers and natural, breathable fibres are key for 9-5 comfort. Designed to be worn for our in-between seasons, transseasonality and timeless designs are at the core of this collection.
The centrepiece for this capsule collection is the Marnie Print - designed exclusively for POL in shades of Toffee, Marine and White - and available on sheer silk and cupro fabrications. This colour palette informs the rest of the collection with knitwear, suiting separates and a cotton tweed designed to sit back with the print.
Office classics like cotton shirts, wide leg pants and tweed separates are given a modern update, while round necked knits, linen sets and a bright anorak lend a more casual feel for the post Covid workplace.
